"Workshop: Infinite Flower Combination"

P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center held its Summer Celebration in July 2006.  Attendees created artwork throughout the various workshops offered by talented local artists or sat under the backdrop of this year's Warm Up is BEATFUSE! by the New York-based OBRA Architects, the winner of the 2006 MoMA/P.S.1 Young Architects Program.

My workshop Infinite Flower Combination invited visitors to create unique flowers combining silk flower petals from a variety of flowers that were previously taken apart.  Visitors were free to create as many pieces as they wished.  They were also asked to donate one of their flowers to add to a floral installation that was created and hung throughout the duration of the celebration.
